Okay, so I last wrote... lemme see... January 9th 2005. It is now November of 2009. Over FOUR years. WOW!

Maybe explaining things will help!

In May 2005 I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. I returned home and got a job for the Blick Clinic working in a group home for MR/DD adults. By fall of 2006 I was enrolled in a graduate program for Mental Health Counseling. Fast forward to today and I am almost done with my Practicum and am staring down the barrel of back-to-back internships totalling 600 hours on top of my full time (3rd shift) job at the group home.
Besides my work/school life I have had two relationships since coming back. The first one did great for almost a year, until she decided she and I had more in common than we first thought... she liked girls too. SO I lost her to a woman. OUCH. The second relationship is working MUCH better. It's been almost 6 months and each passing week it just seems to get better.
By this time next year I should be graduated with my Masters, have most of my licensing tests and what not squared away and be on the market for a job as a counselor. As for the relationship... well, she may read this, so she just has to wait and see. lol.

Hopefully it won't be four more years until my next journal or deviation.

It feels good to post again!
